Please Answer this question if you can

Hi,

I took my Hesi on Nov. 4, and I have not heard anything from the board. Does anyone know how long it take for the board to contact you about taking the nclex-pn?

ps. one other student contacted the board and was told we are not going to hear from them until feb. 2010, which i think is complete ** because on their website it says applications received from schools are processed with in 4-6 weeks. please help me out if you can thanks.

I'm not sure I understand your question. Hesi is administered by your nursing education program, not the State Board.

Did you pass Hesi? Did you graduate? Did your school send your eligibility information to the Board? You will not be able to schedule NCLEX until that happens.

I agree with the previous poster, HESI is usually a school requirement not a state requirement so a lot will depend on how quick the school sends your transcripts to the BON and how quick the BON process your application

yes, i passed hesi, and all of my paper work has been sent to the board, i have called the board many times to find out about my papers and my nclex time, i have not heard from the board and it is extremely hard to get a hold of some one. :o through the track number i was able to find out that the board has received my papers on nov. 16. how much longer do i have to wait to receive some thing from them. one of the students called the board and found out it is going to take until feb. :angryfire

Waiting 2-3 months isn't usually acceptable if trained in the US, if trained outside the US then this is a more common thing. I would ask in writing why it would take so long to be processed if the website states something different
