Pitt Interviews- who is interviewing in March and

Anyone?

I am interviewing March 11th. They called me on Tuesday the 9th of Feb. My GPA is 3.5, GRE 1090, and 2 years experience in the MICU at a high acuity teaching hospital in Atlanta, GA. I will also be taking my CCRN exam in March. Good Luck and hopefully you too will hear from them soon. :)

Congrats on getting the interview! (These boards have been so quiet!) I'm still waiting to be called. My GPA is 3.66, GRE 1210(just took it on Feb 9th), just over a year experience-10 months at a top hospital in Los Angeles in the CICU and CSICU...and now in a different hospital in a busy general ICU...cardiac, neuro micu/sicu/ricu. I'm hoping to interview for March 11th. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Where else are you applying?

Have you heard anything from Pittsburgh?

Anyone else who is going to interview or waiting for an interview invite? Does anyone know how many spots are left in the fall class?

I phoned them yesterday. They said that that they were waiting for my official GRE scores to be reported. I know it takes 10-15 days for scores to be reported so I'm hoping to hear sometime next week....today has been 1 week so I'm very anxious! I'm so surprised this board is so quiet! Anyone else out there interviewing or waiting to hear?

BTW...where else have you applied?

I also applied to UNC Charlotte and have been wait listed. I am currently #5 on the list but they emailed me and want me to reinterview in April.

I've never heard of reinterviewing before. I have also applied to Samuel Merritt in San Fran...I applied late and am still waiting. Have you applied anywhere else? Which is your first choice and why?

My first choice is Pittsburgh because I have heard many positive things about the program. Have you heard from them yet regarding interviews. Also, have you heard anything about the interview proccess. Any info will help!

I phoned last Friday to see if my gre scores were received...they said they were and that they were reviewing files. I asked when to expect to hear something and was told this week...so I'm still hopeful. I haven't heard a thing about the interview. I'm surprised these boards are so quiet.

I am set to interview on March 10. Can't wait! I have a 4.0 gpa on my BSN, 1300 GRE, recently got CCRN. I have over 12 yrs of various ICU experience, most of which is in larger, university hospitals. I just hope the snow doesn't mess up my travel plans. I have apps pending at a few other places, but Pitt is my first choice.
