Several do. I am in school with two nurses that had only PICU experience. Some schools take ER and PACU too. Look at the program you might like and they should have it in their requirements.

I am also in a program with a classmate who has only PICU experience. Only downfalls are that you will have to work more getting to know the adult stuff and you may not be familiar with normal appropriate treatments. That said my classmate is doing fine, she just had to do a little more work in certain areas. An upside is that you'll know more than most for your peds rotation!

I currently attend Westminster and I have one classmate out of 18 who has only PICU experience. In my interview they said they preferred adult, but like nike0777 said, you'll be way ahead when it comes to pediatric rotations! Having only PICU experience makes it harder to get in, but if you have great grades, GRE, etc. you should hopefully get in somewhere.
