Has anyone heard of Infusion Knowledge and instructor Mickey Hawes? They have a class coming to my area that I am interested in. I have been a working R.N. for 25 years and frequently do the difficult I.V.'s at night. I would like to become PICC certified. After I become better at this I would think about home care...is there a need for this? Does it pay well? What is the best way to get established?

Thanks

O.K. this is my second try to post something. I am a better teacher than a computer user. I was told to go to "all nurses" because a name I would recognize was listed there. Let me tell you that I know this person very well. If you would like to know more contact Anne at infusion knowledge: [email protected] or go to infusionknowledge.com although I don't think the current bio on this person is listed yet.

I am very familiar with Infusion Knowledge and there isnt a better company out there teaching all aspects of infusion therapy. Those instructors are experts in so many areas of IV education. I attended many classes and I can tell you from my personal experience, they are thorough and can answer just about any question about this stuff because all of them still work in the field, unlike some others who are strictly academic and they have been doing this for ages all over the USA.
