Physician's Visits...who counts?

Hello-

I am trying to code one of my regular PD1's up to a CB1 related to the physician's visit/orders. I have the 4 days of different orders within the 14 days, but I do not have the physician's visit. I DO on the other hand have a visit/consult from our optometrist. In the RAI manual- it lists appropriate physicians that can be coded, but doesn't include optometrist. (includes dentist, podiatrist, etc) Has anyone else coded an optometrist?

Thanks so much.

An optometrist is a physician. See definition here under "Physician"
