personal statement for the nursing program application

Hi everyone. I am applying for the nursing program for my first time! Yay, I already have my personal statement ready to go, but my question is, do I open up my personal statement by just going directly into what I want to say, or do I need to open it with something like

Dear Admissions, or To Whom It May Concern.

I just want it to be perfect. Any advice would be helpful.

    I wish I could offer some help. My program did not require that I write an essay.

    I am sure that some of the other lovely members will offer helpful info.
