Peronal Statement?

just wanted to hear some ideas or personal experience with great personal statements... what to include, length and the like...

The one thing you should NOT do is be fake or phoney in any way. A personal statement provides you a chance express your TRUE thoughts. So don't waste it.

What do YOU want to say? What is most important to you that you want them to know about you? That's where you start.

My best advice with the personal statement is to be HONEST. Don't give any fluff, all nurses want to help people, so don't drone on it. Also, this is your only chance to get your point across, so if you have a grade you are not proud of, it's your chance to explain! A good starting point it to look at the school's "mission statement" for the nursing program.
