hi there, im enrolled in a lpn program also, oct 2012 graduation (hopefully!). i have 1 child and also am recieving pell, but it wasnt enough. i am fortunately getting funded by my local workforce development program, which will pay for the remainder. is there anything like that in your area?

Mississippi has a WIN job center on every campus. they have funding in different programs that can help. Also all of the hospitals in mississippi and tennessee have programs that help you too. You sign a contract to work for them for 2 years after graduation and they help you financially through school.

Go to your family support office-these are county run. They have daycare assistance, food stamps, and WIC.You def qualify since you are in school.Google your state name, and child/family support office for names and addresses.

Since your school is able to issue Pell Grants, you are eligible for student loans.
