pediatrics

 hey guys, i just passed my Maternity Finals today(yeah for me :wavey: ) now i move on to pediatrics. My class of 20 students were split in half this semester, my half did maternity, the other half did peds, today i found out only 3 out of the 10 passed Peds, i am so  , i cant believe it, the students in that group , always get in the high 90% in all the previous modules. Everyone is stating the reason for their failure, is 1) completing 18 chapters in 6 week, 2) The peds teacher being a 24 year old fresh out of nursing school, and herl ack of competence, 3) learning all the disease and signs of symptoms, for the peds client.

Now the thing is , they can move on to maternity when we return to school, but they will have to go back and do Peds, because thats like the pre req to psyc. I am now a little shaken up to start peds, i do know there failure does not means mine, i do plan to give it 110%. Does anyone has any advice on what i should foucs on to study for peds and how can i remember all the information?
