Pediatrics Badge

Specialties CRNA

Published

I read a while back on the boards that someone had purchased a pediatric anesthesia badge for drug doses, estimated weights based on age, ETT sizes etc... that they used with great success in clinicals. Does anyone know where they said they purchased that??? Was it on EBAY???? I am having a real difficult time with one CRNA at my Peds Clinical Rotation... she is giving me HE double hockey sticks... pimping me.. Thanks in advance.:banghead:

Hey Amy.... I purchased a Pediatric Badge and an Induction drug badge on Ebay for not very much money.... They are extremely helpful in clinical... I use them on a daily basis.... I think I found them by searching CRNA Badge or something like that.

Good Luck!!!

I like the badge idea, but unless this guy has updated his pediatric version there is at least on error on there. The MAC values he uses are adult MAC values and not pediatric values. You can actually see the cards better with this picture. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESEX:IT&item=250213102657&_trksid=p3984.cSELL.m315.lVI This auction ended a few weeks ago, but it is the only picture I can find where you can actually see the product up close.

I really like the "Pediatric Perioperative Pocket Book". It still small enough to fit in your scrub pocket and is much more comprehensive.

I'm buying this one when I get to that point. It has been recommended by a couple SRNAs I know.
