Pediatric CNA

I am a CNA currently working in a nursing home, I would LOVE to get into any kind of pediatric unit, whether it be a hospital or a pediatric facility. I applied to my local hospital, but does anyone have any suggestions of where else to apply?? I have been looking online and I have been struggling finding any place that uses CNAs. I am from the New Bedford Massachusetts area. Thank in advance for any help!

Don't know if this would be a commute that you would be willing/able to make, but Plymouth Rehab has long-term peds patients and has CNA openings. I don't live in the area, so I just googled "pediatric long-term care facilities Massachusetts" and found that in the first few hits. The same organization that runs that facility has numerous sites in the region, so you may find one that's closer to you.

Can you commute to Boston? Several of the big Boston hospitals that have peds populations also utilize aides.

Thank you so much for the suggestions! I wasn't even thinking to look for long term facilities.

Boston is a bit of a drive but those were the hospitals I was originally looking into. Thank you again!
