There are numerous threads on this topic. In a nutshell, you authorized a charge of $200 to your credit card, and when it attempted to charge you, your card was declined for payment. Your card maxed out, by any chance?

FWIW, the PV 'trick' isn't of much use unless you follow some simple rules....and even then, it's questionable.

Since your exam is scored TWICE, not ONCE, if you attempt to figure out if you passed or not soon after the test you'll get nowhere. Or at least, nowhere close to reliable. If on your first scoring you are 'pass', it won't let you continue....and you'll think YAY, I PASSED! But if on your second scoring, it's a 'fail'....it stays a fail. You are misled. Same as if it TAKES your $200, you think I FAILED! when if on the second scoring it's a 'pass'....it stays a pass, and you'll have paid 200 non-refundable dollars for zero reason. PLUS you will have thought you failed.

AFTER 24 hours, if you want to play the 'trick' game, your scorings will be completed and at least you have a clue. BUT it's not conclusive, so if it takes your money and you end up passing, it's on you.

Hang in there; if your State participates in Quick Results (where you pay PV eight bucks) that's a RELIABLE option.

Good luck.

Use a valid credit card i guess?
