Hi all!
I am currently a student in the PCT program at a small school in Atlanta, GA. I would like to know the steps I can take to further my education to become a LPN and hopefully go further as a RN or nurse practitioner. Any and all information will be extremely helpful to me.
Thanks and Happy Holidays to everyone!!!

If your ultimate goal is to become a nurse practitioner, you may want to consider skipping becoming an LPN. If you're really hurting for cash now and have the time, though, it may be worth becoming an LPN first. Either way, I can suggest getting your ASN first and then bridging to a BSN. It gets you to work a year sooner and you can work on your BSN while you gain experience. Even if you live in an area where hospitals mainly only hire BSN grads, it may be worth working in LTC as an ASN RN until you can bridge.
Thanks!!
