It is my understanding that after you become "CPNE Eligible," you pay 1950...and then you're able to select a site and wait on a date. Is this correct? Or do you pay for it once you have a date?

You pay when you apply.

you can break up the payment into installments, but you have to have it paid off by the time you get to within 30 days of your test date.

I just finished and to apply you have to put a minimum of $600 down and you can spread the rest out 3 or 4 months. The school also has some scholarships available. I applied for one and didn't get it, but a friend of mine at work applied and she did get one, and it paid for the entire CPNE and her graduation fee (which is about $500). Never hurts to try.

Does anyone know if you pay for the CPNE, if they'll reimburse you if you get a scholarship??
