Pathophysiology text?

Hello all,

What pathophysiology book do most Canadian nursing schools use? We don't have a dedicated patho class in my BScN program-it is incorporated into our med-surg, anatomy, etc classes. I'd like to pick up at used text to help me with my studies.

Thank you,

Char

We used Porth's patho text. Big, Canadian, and decently written.

Medical Surgical Nursing in Canada (Lewis, Heitkemper et al). This is a great text which I still have, and one of the main resources we used for patho.

Thats what we used, good. However often left me wanting more of an explanation, did always answer the how. But i think it is the best Canadian one you will find

Agreed. Our patho teacher was good for filling in the blanks, as was YouTube.

My patho teacher was the author....she was good at widening the gap. Haha
