What school are you looking to apply to if you don't mind me asking? I've looked in to several schools and none of them required patho. I'm actually surprised at this.

As far as your last question, you need to ask an academic advisor from the school of interest. That is the safest route to take to avoid wasting your time on a class that won't transfer.

All of this. I took a patho class but only to attain a bit of knowledge before starting my program this August. We had a basic human physiology pre-req though.

I'm looking at Colorado State University - they are one, and i've seen it as a pre-req in several others that I have looked at.

I have already tried contacting the advising department, waiting on response... if i get one.

I've found that the accelerated program options require more in pre-reqs than a lot of other traditional programs do

My school requires it as part of their "pre-term", sort of like a pre-req but you have to take it there as part of the nursing program. I would make sure your school accepts the class before putting down any money. My school was able to tell me a list of local community colleges and the corresponding pre-reqs from them they accepted. Hopefully, someone gets back to you and can give you specifics.
