Hi. Does anyone know if there is any easy way to explain the pathophysiology of schizophrenia in fifth grade language? I get trouble getting my creative juices flowing for this. If anyone could help me or give me some ideas on where I could possibly find something like that to get me started it would be greatly appreciated! )
Thanks!

My sister, who has schizophrenia, use to explain it to me like this: "It's like your brain is thinking about everything at once and it's hard to concentrate on what is real and what isn't....it's like you're dreaming while you're up and walking around sometimes and it's very confusing."
Thanks for your help!

The pathophysiology of schizophrenia is asked a lot on the student forums. This isn't in fifth grade language, but it is the answer.
