I have a friend who recieved her RN 2 years ago. She had a felony that was around 10 yrs old at the time. You need to be honest about it, and let them know if there was an explainable reason behind it.
In her case, she and her husband were cleaning up an "abandoned" lot that her children played in. They took some scrap metals to be recycled and were later charged with theft from the property owner.
Good luck, it is do-able
Thanks that made me feel a little better. was it hard for her to obtain a job. my felony was forgery because i had an abusive husband who had stole checks and made me sign them . i got away from him but now i'm stuck with this . because i was not strong enough to brake away. i was young and now regret but can't change the past. thanx again . i can do this i won't beleave
that i cant
No, it wasn't hard. Nurses are in high demand. Like I said, just be upfront and honest about your mistakes.
