Hi guys!!! So I promised myself when I pass the NCLEX I will post how I did it! I had to create an account just to post this.
Anyways, I graduated in May 2016 and took RN license on August 3rd and 3 days later found out I passed!!!! (I also good the good pop up) I passed with 75 questions!! YAY!
I studied for a month roughly 4-7 hours a day and did roughly of a minimum of 75 questions per day and maximum of +150 questions. (P.S always look back at the answers and rationale!)
Our school payed for Kaplan so I did all the Qbank questions and did only the question trainers 1-3. I also did the Kaplan Readiness and I got a 66% which equals to a 96% of passing the Nclex on the first try. I also did the Sunders comprehensive book I did all the OB question on the CD that came with it and did some fundamental questions. However I did not really read the book I think I only read like 2 OB chapters. What really helped was Lacharity Prioritization and delegation. I only finished chapters 1-22. Really good book I liked the rationales and I thing it really helped me prioritize!
For all of those who are taking the Nclex the best way to study is to do questions!!!! Read the rationales and also find out your weakness and do more of those questions!
Believe in yourself! I know its easier said then done. I think prayer helped me a lot and also the day before the test I did yoga and meditation to ease my mind!
Have faith that you made it this far and that you can do it! You can do whatever you put your mind to!! Honestly get post-its and write your initials and RN next to it!! Trust me it helps!!!
Good luck to all I hope this helps anyone!
