Passed in 75!

Get ready this is long! Just trying to help others!

I passed in 75! Thankful to God and Uworld!!!!

So I told myself if I had passed I would post something. So I graduated in September 2017 with my BSN. Had some family situations come up so it delayed my NCLEX process. I began studying for the NCLEX in March. Took a while to get my ATT and I ended up taking the exam in May. I solely used Uworld from March till May. I did purchased Hurst but I honestly didn't finish it cause I felt it wasn't helping me answer questions just with content. (Hurst is great for content.) From March to May all I did was Uworld and 2 weeks of hurst. When doing Uworld I broke it down by section and system (eg: All sections, Respiratory) I started doing 50 questions in the beginning to doing 120 questions a day by the end. I had it set to Timed and Tutor mode so it felt like the real deal! I did all the questions and read all the rationales even if I got the questions right or wrong. And I took lots of notes and took down as much as I needed. (This is what I believed helped me pass. I had two notebooks of info.) I was studying pretty much every day some days I would study less and some days more. (If your mind needs a break please take a break) This is where I was nervous, I finished all my Uworld questions 5 days before the NCLEX, so I planned to review my 2 notebooks in these 5 days. I believed this helped me the most because I could go over the rationals and make sure I understood the info. Be careful with taking a few days off of questions just cause you will lose the swing of things. Those 5 days I did 25 questions per day that I had answered incorrectly just to keep in the right mind set. My exam was in the afternoon I prayed and tried to relax. I honestly just review labs and levels that morning. I took the exam in 75 questions and kind of freaked because I really didn't understand my last question. I felt like I was going super fast and decided to slow down. The computer shut off at 75 and I kind of just sat there lol. When I finished I did received the Pearson email and about 4 hours after I got the "good pop up" and then again in 24 hours "good pop up". Also, around 24 hours I checked my state BON and saw my name with active license number. I was super happy! Lol Also, please remember the NCLEX is a safety exam! Always when answering questions apply that. (Is the pt safe?) Lastly, I prayed everyday to pass this exam. I truly put all my faith in God and let him have the control over my exam. God helped me keep it together and acquire the knowledge I needed and Uworld gave me all the right info! One more thing just read all the rationals! I know the struggle so I wrote this for those who needed some insight! I hope this helps someone out there! :)
