Passed NCLEX yesterday

I graduated December 16th and I took the NCELX RN yesterday. It was not the experience I expected. The computer shut off at 75 questions, but I did not feel that I did very well. I had sooooo many SATA and no math questions. Anyway, I am now a licensed RN and can breath a sigh of relief, but it was the worst 24 hours of my life not knowing if I passed or failed.

I also wanted to share that I only used ATI to prepare, my program incorporated ATI into all of our classes and we were required to do a 3 day ATI live review at the beginning of December, and I felt it was very beneficial.

Good luck to all who are testing soon, and just know that you will feel like you failed after the test, but try not to stress (I know, easier said than done, I may have needed a couple glasses of wine to lower my anxiety and help induce sleep!!!!!! :)

Congrats!

Hi, How long did you prepare for NCLEX and how many hours per day did you study?

Any tips how you passed NCLEX? thanks :)

This past semester I would do a few ATI quizzes or tests each week. I didn't really do any studying after I graduated on Dec. 16th until January 1st. I went through my ATI comprehensive book January 3rd and 4th and did a few online tests and took the NCLEX on the morning of the 5th. I felt that my program and ATI prepared me for the test so I didn't see the need to study extensively or buy other prep courses. The 3rd and 4th I probably devoted 4 hours each day to going over my book, making sure I had lab values down, and brushing up on heart rhythms.
