Hi Everyone,
I passed my Nclex in 75 questions using only Uworld and Hurst. I started studying a month and half in advance and dedicated about 6 hours a day to studying. I found Hurst was great for its content as it simplifies the key information, however, I didn't do any of their online questions. Hurst is on the expensive side but if content is an area you struggle with then I would recommend Hurst. I spent majority of my time focusing on Uworld and would highly recommend it. I did about 50-75 questions a day and finished the whole question bank. I tried hard to understand the rationales for Uworld and was averaging on most tests between 45-55% depending on the unit. Don't get discouraged by the percentage. If you really spend time understanding the rationales the questions will make a lot more sense. Also the Nclex has a very similar format to Uworld questioning.
I also used the Canadian Nclex mastery app but only did about 200 questions from that app. I found some questions a lot easier in comparison to Uworld and also the rationales were okay, not too great. But its a good app to use when bored.
Before going in to write my exam I had a lot of anxiety and also during as well, but I spent a lot of time reading the questions. On my exam I felt that I had a few psych, maternity, leadership, medication and delegation questions. Not much on the body systems or diseases.
