Passed my nclex

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I finally passed my Nclex, for the people that hasn't passed yet DONT GIVE UP, it doesn't matter how many times you take it. It took me FIVE TIMES and who cares, people are going to question you " oh maybe nursing isn't for you" " oh it took you so many times to take it, your patient don't have fives times to live" taking it more than once doesn't mean nursing isn't for you, it just means youre not understanding the concept and you need to study more. Those negative people are not going to predict your future YOU ARE! God will. I'm not going to force anyone to believe in God. But trust his timing. If you don't believe in him. Think everything happens for a reason, only you can change yourself. It took me fives times to pass because during those few times I took it, I realize I wasn't studying the right way I knew I wasn't practicing and doing questions, I was not understanding the content Etc. only you can help yourself. So don't give up!

When God knows your ready he will give it to you. Trust.

How did I pass:

1.God; praying and asking him to give me strength. Pass or fail I just asked God to guide me and give me the strength that I need.

2.HURST review online! And purchase the handbook or print it out( it's a lot so I say just buy it) HURST really helped refreshed with medsurg

3.UWORLD UWORLD UWORLD! If you don't need refreshing with your medsurg and you understand the content! PUT YOUR SOUL TO UWORLD! Ohhhhhhh blessed that company!

Do 20 questions everyday DONT DO MORE THAN 50! Do 30 max! But read and UNDERSTAND the rational! Oh boy trust me you will pass!

Congrats, this must be the greatest feeling for you :) Hiring managers don't care or know how many times you took the NCLEX. So wear the RN title proud and just know that if you care so much to try and try again, it means you will be very careful with your patients. A nurse who barely studied and aced the NCLEX first try might be too confident and then make mistakes. You will be more careful because you know what mistakes you are likely to make. Good luck with job searching!
