Just passed the HESI a few minutes ago.:grad:
No more papers, tests, papers, clinicals, papers, evaluations, papers, ill-fitting scrubs, or more papers! I can feel the cortisol levels receding already.
I think I'll take a few days next week after graduation and go down to Padre Island and just watch the waves and sea gulls. I'm also going to relearn what it means to consistently get a full night's sleep.
To those of you who are still in school, take it one day at a time. When you fall, get back up. From Winston Churchill," If you're going through hell, keep going."
To my fellow graduates; we don't know each other but, we're the same cohort. We've all experienced the same frustrations, stress, 04:00 alarms for clinicals, and finally the same triumph of graduation (least ways for me graduation is a triumph). So, I'll leave you with a bit of advice. Go forth and party! You've earned it.
