Part-time Classes?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hello there!

I work in an NICU and I really want to take the bachelor of nursing course at the University of Calgary. I know they give you 7 years to complete the course, I was just wondering if anyone has taken the course in a more part time basis and average times that the classes were offered? I want to continue working while I am in school and I also have a child to care for so I am hoping it would be possible to take classes 3 days a week, and be done by roughly 1 p.m.

If this makes any sense to anyone I would love to hear your input.

Are you an ADN-prepared nurse? I know that most bridge programs are set up for people to work part time while in school, but I'm not familiar with your particular university (or, for that matter, Canadian nursing! :) ). I'm sure you could make it work, but try contacting the nursing department at the university, and see what they have to say. Good luck!
