Panic before exam day

So I failed the nclex once and am a stay at home mom until I pass or until the end of the month when the money saved will run out. Any advice on final studies before the big day? Especially in relationship to remembering labs or meds..thanks in advance. I plan to register this week and have to test within the next two to three weeks.

I would memorize normal labs for: BNP, BUN, Creatinine, Total Cholesterol, PT, INR, PTT (including their therapeutic ranges), H&H, Glucose, RBC, WBC, Neutrophil, and platelets. Other than that just focus on doing questions not so much studying material unless you know of an area that you are obviously weak in.

There is a 35 page document floating around All Nurses from a few years ago that really condenses down pertinent info. I don't have the link but maybe search for NCLEX study guide? I printed that out and then went out for a leisurely dinner/happy hour the night before and did a quick review. Maybe write down the suggested lab value ranges and take a quick peek before going in? Other than that I agree with focusing more on test questions I the last 3 weeks. See what you get wrong and THEN review, which will focus your studies. Try and simulate the NCLEX and do 265 questions in one sitting, timed with breaks. I don't really think last minute studying is good, you want to go into the test relaxed but focused.
