Pace CDP - Certification required before starting classes?

Hi everyone

I'll be attending Pace for the CDP in the fall and was wondering if any past, current, or other future CDP students could give me more info about the proper certification required before starting classes? (I spoke with an advisor about it and she said the information would be mailed to me but I'd like to register as soon as I can.) Will a "Healthcare Provider BLS Course" cover it? Also, is online certification allowed?

Any help is appreciated, thanks! :)

Will you be starting clinicals in the fall? If you are, you will need the BLS courses. I know you can take them on line but I think it's much better, especially if it's your first time taking the course to do it live. If you have any other questions about pace, feel free to ask. Good luck w/ your new semester!

Hello s0615:

I will be attending Pace in the Fall as well. I have the same question and I haven't gotten a definite response. Which campus will you be attending? Are you in the 1 yr or 2yr program? Have you registered yet? Sorry for all the questions I'm just a bit excited :)

Hey

If you call Tiffany the advisor she'll register you for classes and send you a packet with all the info. I called her back in May and she never sent it... until I called again about it last week. Just got all the stuff on Monday. I'll be in the 1 year program at NYC.

You have to take a BLS Course for the Healthcare Provider.
