OT: surgical tech school/program?

not sure where or if this is an appropriate questions to ask, but i was wondering if anyone can recommend a surgical tech school/program in NJ? an area near by the tri state region?

my friends mom who is an OR nurse told me about becoming a Surgical tech and recommended me to become one to supplement my nursing career (which is on pause but that is another story). she told me about dover business college but i read negative reviews about it.... is there any other place? thank you in advance.

I graduated from the New England Tech program in RI. Intense course, but that course and a few years working in the OR, made nursing school so much easier for me. Good luck with whatever you decide!!

RI is not exactly local to me. Lol. Thank you for the info and wishes thou. My goal of being an OR nurse will have to wait a bit.

One more thing, would this book be a good book to get to get a head start on reading?? It's relatively inexpensive.
