OT and RN?

I have been a pediatric OT for 14 years. I have worked in the NICU for 2 years, and it is my dream job. But since I've been in this unit, I have determined that the most optimal handler for these fragile pts would be a caregiver that could support development with every single touch, while also providing great medical care. I guess in a perfect world, nurses would be OTs and OTs would be nurses! (But in a perfect world there would be no sick/preemie babies...)

So I am currently finishing pre-reqs to go back and get my BSN. I have applied for fall and am in the waiting period, but I don't know... 48 years old and going back for 4 hard semesters when I already have a wonderful prn job. Am I crazy???:uhoh3:
