Ontario Accelerated Programs

Hi I just wanted to get the conversation started regarding people applying to the accelerated nursing schools this year. I applied to Queen's UofT Humber Trent and Western. So far only Queen's and Trent have responded. Wondering if anyone else has heard anything and if so what's your stats (GPA Volunteer Work...). My first choice is UofT and I am very anxiously awaiting their response.

Hi, I heard back from Humber a few weeks ago. My GPA is around a 3.5 in the last 2 years (I already have a degree). I have volunteer experience at a local hospital as well as various clubs on campus. Trent is actually my first choice but I haven't heard anything from them yet. What is your GPA like and when did you hear from Trent?

My GPA is 3.76 in my last two years. 3.4 overall with an Honours degree in bio. What I think really helps me is I have been working as a medical secretary. Trent emailed me Feb 19th, turning it down for Queens and still hoping for UofT.

Thanks for the reply. I just found out that I got into Trent! woot!

Hi. I received an offer of admission to Bloomberg (u of t) on April 3, 2014. My GPA was 3.75 in the last 5.0 full credits completed and at least 3.7 in the last 10 full credits completed.
