What school have people gone to? I am currently looking at Chamberlain or
American Sentinel University. What accrediations should you look for in an online school. I am looking for a school that does't require all sorts of general ed classes.

A bachelor's degree requires general ed courses. I'm using Fort Hays State University for my BSN. I really didn't need any general ed classes, but when I was getting my RN, I had to take one, and I did it through www.edukan.org Edukan is a consortium of Kansas community colleges that offer classes online. Much less expensive than universities.
FHSU has people from all over the country in their RN-BSN program. It is accredited. Their website is http://www.fhsu.edu/nursing/undergraduate/bsn.php
The cost is extremely reasonable (much cheaper than Chamberlain or ASU).
Hope that helps.

Ok, this is totally off topic. If u go to an online nursing school, do u still have to do clinicals at a hospital??
In my RN to BSN program, I do have to do clinicals the last semester. I am not yet sure where they will be--hospital, public health clinic, doctor's office, probably a mix.

We have an ongoing discussion here: https://allnurses.com/forums/f125/rn-bsn-online-105380.html
I graduated from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences RN to BSN program. http://onlinenursing.fhchs.edu/ They might have more co-reqs than your interested in, as they have 6 hours of religion classes, among others they require. It's NLN accredited. The two accreditations you should look for are NLNAC and/or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
