I am trying to decide whether or not to enroll in one of the online ADN to BSN programs like GCU,ASU, university of california san marcos. I am currently an ADN RN licensed in the state of california. My primary reason for seeking my BSN is to be able to apply for Public Health Nurse Certification in california which states I must have a BSN and 90 hours supervised clinical experience in a public health settings. I notice that most of these online programs don't require any hands on clinical so I am not understanding how I am supposed to fulfill the requirement of the 90 hours? Does anyone know? I was told by UCSM that they do project based assignments that substitute for the hours and that california BRN accepts these? help someone I am so lost.
