Online RN to BSN programs

Hello!

So, last Thursday I took the dreaded NCLEX and I passed!! What a relief!

Now my focus is a) applying for jobs and b) looking into getting my BSN

Walden University has accepted a lot of my credits for their online RN-to-BSN program but I want to check with everyone about this... Would this program be worthwhile? Many hospitals want their nurses to have their Bachelors. Would this be appropriate, or would a recruiter roll their eyes if they saw Walden on my resume?

My goal is to have a strong educational background and resume and since I only have my ADN I definitely need a BSN and would love to get that squared away asap.

For the record, I'm located in Baltimore, MD. I'm also looking at some local options as well (like Uni of MD and Towson U.) but they're way more expensive and want me to take a couple more higher level pre-reqs...

Should I suck it up and pay more/take more prereqs or do you think an online program like Walden could work?

Or if there's another online program you think is better than Walden (like Chamberlain or Drexel) let me know.

Thanks in advance!
