Just took the TEAS V today. I didn't too great on the online practice exams, but did a lot better on the actual test. My score actually increased by about 10%. The online exams were a lot harder than the actual exam. The practice exams do give you a good insight into what you need to brush up on though. Just keep up the studying and take a deep breath. Good luck!
Thanks for you advice but if your score was increased by 10% then what did you get on the online practice test if you dont mind me asking??? Did you study from the study guide and do you do the two practice test in the back of the book??? And is everything thats mention in the guide on the test??

I had the official test book and found it helpful on narrowing down what I really needed to look at. The test book is harder. I was getting 50s on the practice tests and today got my score for the actual TEAs... I got an 81.3%

I've been studying the ATI book for about 2 months on and off, and consistantly every day, the past month. The first time I did the practice exams in the book, I scored about 66-80% in each subject. I took the book practice exams again on Monday, and scored in the high 80's and 90's, missing at most 4 questions per subject. I bought the online practice exam today, thinking I would do well, and scored 60% all subjects combined! It was sooooooooo hard! I felt that the online practice exam had harder math and science questions.
I am so nervous about taking the TEAS test tomorrow morning! I wish I would have taken the online practice exam last week, to brush up on more topics. Can anyone tell me if the actual TEAS is harder than the online practice exam?
Thanks alot for you advice... I did the practice test in the book and was getting a score like 76 on each part but on the online practice test i got like a 43... Its a little discouraging I guess.. So it like i really dont know where to study from.. LOL

I took the TEAS exam in July. I ordered the online practice exams from the ATI website. When I took them I will say I was a bit discouraged, as I was aiming for over a 90%, but the highest I got on the practice exams was about an 80%. I do believe the practice exams were more difficult than the actual exam, as I did score over a 90% composite on the real thing.
So, it was my experience that the online practice exams were more difficult than the actual test. But i do feel that they are what helped prepare me the most for the exam and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good way to prepare. I did also purchase the ATI study guide, but it was so full of information and it was a bit overwhelming. I hope this info helps!

I scored 20% higher on my TEAS V than I did on the practice exams.
Seems to be the norm I guess...

I took the TEAS on the 22nd. I briefly read over the ati study manual that a friend let me borrow. I took a practice exam before the real test so I would know exactly what area I should study for most (considering I was cramped for time). I spent two days studying for about 4 hours each day in the areas I needed most help in. I passed with a 79%. Not the best score ever, but I don't have to retake it unless I want to shoot for something better. Depending on how much time you have to study will really make the difference. Some questions from that study manual were exact duplicates on the real test!

I am studying to take the TEAS as well and this topic was very helpful to me. I hope my scores increase as well!
