Online Classes

What are everyones thoughts on online classes? I have four this semester and it's frustrating keeping all the due dates straight. I have a planner and have everything written in, however, I must have missed an assignment due date because I noticed today I didn't get one done that was due Oct. 4th!

Not only do I enjoy online coursework, I am also grateful that so many online degree programs are available. If it weren't for online classes, I would never have been able to return to school full-time while working full-time.

That is one thing I have found. It is easier to work with online classes, but at the same time. There is a lot more reading that comes with online classes in my opinion.

I LOVE the online classes. I have four kids and work as well. It's hard to carve out face to face time to attend school on campus (and I only live 15 minutes away from the university).

I do love the platform that my school uses though, the software actually tracks everything I have due each week and puts a green check mark next to each item when I turn it in. So, when I open Webcourses, I can quickly see what I have left due each week.

Without having that, I would add each assignment every week into your phone calendar and laptop calendar so that every time you pick up those things (which we do a lot!), you will be reminded you have X assignment and Y assignment left. You could even set different alarms that will give you a head's up a few days before a due date. Yes, it will take extra time to set those up, but it's much better than missing assignments.
