There is an AllNurses forum dedicated to distance learning here. However, I don't think there are any programs where you can start from scratch and become an RN online. Excelsior used to allow people with experience in various health-care disciplines (such as EMT) to enter their program, but I believe they have made their entrance requirements stricter.

There is so much hands-on stuff to learn in nursing school that it's just not possible to learn everything online. Most online nursing programs are for students who are already RNs, and there are some designed for LPNs.
