What do you usually use in a cvicu(open heart)?
central lines?
PA(swan-ganz)?
a-lines?
CVVH?
chest tubes?
Bloon pump?
intubation?

In our CCU we use:
arterial lines
central lines/swans (without CCO)
Chest Tubes
Intubation
This top section is standard on all of our surgery patients.
CVVH, IABPs and VADs are obviously used only when necessary.
I haven't been a lot of places, but these seem pretty standard--why do you ask??

Multiple invasive lines (swans, PA thermistors, LA lines, triple lumens, quad lumens, Quintons, Hickmans)
Arterial lines
CVVHD/CAVHD
Chest tubes/JPs
intubation/trach
Multiple VADs (balloon pumps, abiomed, HeartMate, Novocor, Thoratec, DeBakey, ECMO)
Pacemakers (external and trannsvenous)
Ruby Vee, BSN
