On call

I work in a LTC Facility. I've been there over ten years . Regarding being on call, the day RNS, ADNS ICN, Staff Dev RN and MDS RN took call one day during the week and every 5th weekend. They now want all the charge nurses to share call. We'd be on call every 20 some odd weekends. We already do Holidays and 26 weekends per year and feel this is unfair . We are not being listened to. What can we do?

You can vote with your feet and leave for another job where you would not need to take call.
