Does anyone know about nursing at the olympics in 2008 China?
In 2004, for Athens, a nursing friend of mine mentioned that nurses we very much needed to travel to the olympics and work there.
Now that i am a nurse (well, I start in August due to a broken leg) I would lovve to have the opportunity to go to Bejjing and work for the olympics.
Anyone know anything about this? Or have experience working at a previous Olympics?
Thank!

I'm not sure how you get to work for the Olympics. I would guess that you are a volunteer and pay to get there. I would also guess that they need just as many nurses (if not more) for the paraolympics that happen in Sept 2008. I checked out the website (http://en.beijing2008.com/) and found this quote:
According to Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) reckoning, some 100,000 volunteers are needed for the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games in 2008. Mass recruitment is expected to start later this year.
