Does anyone know if you are receiving a student loan ONLY, how much you normally get a semester/year? when is the tuition billed (like all at once, per semester). what is a typical student loan amount that most people get for the program? is there a refund check? what's a typical refund amount (at what times are you issued refund(s))? etc. Are you suppose to have everything already paid and bought prior to first day of class? or will there at least be an orientation day to tell you what u need to do and when is this typically held during the year? what is the exact first day of class for the spring semester in 2010?

My friend is in the accelerated program in Baton Rouge and she says tuition is around 14,000 not including books or scrubs, etc. They split it up into three semesters so for us it would be spring, summer, and fall. My friend got 12,000 in loans and 3,000 for a scholarship. We should get our whole schedule for the semester on orientation day too. They do not give out any grants for those who've graduated with a bachelors already . Hope that helps you out. I've been bugging my friend asking her about everything too and what to expect.
Ouch! It sounds like it's going to cost all my student loans and additional money out of pocket. I was afraid of that. I was hoping that I wouldn't have to pay out of my own pocket. I also applied for a scholarship that financial aid sent me for economically disadvantaged students.
