Hey, I got an email today and it reads:
You can meet with an advisor on Wedensday, October 7th or Thursday, October 15 between the hours of 10am till 12 noon at 4513 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA 70072. Please bring with you a copy of your transcripts from every college that you attended. We see the first seven people that sign up and sign up start at 9:45 am. If those times are not good, you could always fax your transcripts to 504-349-6893 with a cover sheet with your name and contact info. And an advisor will contact you by phone.
I am interesed in the East Jefferson/OLOL Accelerated Program. I took the TEAS exam for Charity last Wednesday and I failed it by a couple of points, so I won't be delivering my application to Charity tomorrow, sniff, sniff, sniff. Trust me, I have been crying ever since. But, I have decided I can't give up. That test was horrible, I still don't understand why they asked questions regarding ROCKS! Anyway, I can't give up just yet.
I already have a degree in Business from UNO and I will try my luck in this program. If they kick me to the curb also, well.... I guess that must mean I need to let this dream go.
Well, I hope the info helps you. I'll will definitely be there October 7th!
Good Luck

For the traditional nursing prog at olol, 100 students are admitted for clinicals. 40-50 for their accel program.

Is the teas required for OLOL?
Well yes and no. I think you have to score above a 75 or 80 to get into the traditional program. The accel does not require applicants to take the exam.
