OHSU Ashland fall 2012

I too was put on the alternate list and was recently accepted to the ashland campus for fall 2012! congratulations!

Hey:) This is my first post on AN. I got a call yesterday that I have a spot on the Ashland Campus of OHSU as well! I am ridiculously excited but holding my breath until the all-important financial aid letter comes (I am out of state). Congratulations to my new classmates!

Has anyone figured out their living plans yet? I'm just starting to look into my options...

Just wondering if there were any other nursing students on here that got accepted into OHSU Ashland for fall 2012. Would be cool to connect before orientation!

I am 27 years old, so somewhat of an older student. I'm originally from Santa Cruz, but have been living in Klamath falls the past 2 years, working on my prerequisites. Before this, I worked add a toddler teacher and taught preschool back in Santa Cruz and although I loved working with kids, I really wanted to become a nurse and work with kids as a nurse. I was originally on the alternate list for OHSU, so was way excited when I got a call just last Friday that there was a spot for me in Ashland! So now I'm working on finishing finals this week and moving and figuring out the best place to live in Ashland. :)

I got into OHSU Ashland as well!!

It would be great to make contact with some other students entering this Fall so there will be a few familiar faces come orientation.

I feel the same way! I just moved to Oregon about two years ago and know pretty much no one in Ashland. Would love to get in touch with people beforehand (:
