Sep 24, 201015 yr Author AHHH soo many new abbreviations to learn. I swear I have a new list to learn and s/p stands for that one. haha. Open heart surgery sounds really good, but I forgot to mention that the pat is only a 21 year old female. The meds she's on are: Erythromycin, Robitussin AC, Aspirin, and furosemide... Wait a sec....... do you think the aspirin is to thin the blood for post-op heart surgery?
