I'm wondering if anyone who received a "tentative" acceptance letter for the Ohlone Spring 2014 RN program has received any additional information yet. I received my original letter back in May 2013 and have not heard from them since. In the letter is says they will contact us in the beginning of September, but we're almost halfway through now. Anyone hear anything? I'm feeling anxious!

I don't know about the prereqs. They program is usually 7-8k. About half of the cost is when you start for supplies and books. Start saving. Prereqs at community college are about 46 dollars per unit unless you qualify for bog waiver or financial aid. I don't know the cost for Ohlone specifically but I'm guessing most cc's in California are going to cost about the same. It also depends on how many prereqs you are missing. Books vary from each class for prereqs. There are programs like EOPS and that can help with book costs. You can also borrow the book from the library for a few hours, buy online or rent the books.
