Ohlone College Fall 2011/Spring2012

I haven't heard anything either! The wait is almost unbearable...I guess it will be on Monday?

So soon? I thought on the brochure it said 3 weeks after the end of application process. So it ended April 15th to accept applications, and 3 weeks would be about May 06?

At my one-on-one meeting he told me that it would be at most 10 days after the closing period but probably before that. Tomorrow will be 10 days...so let's hope he's right!

Ooh that would be terrific if the lottery results are so soon! I think this year will have about 300-400 applicants for 40 spots right? Wow, that is some fierce competition!

The counselor actually told me that they were estimating about 300 originally, but it was looking like it was only going to be around 240 applicants-around 80 of these are re-applicants. They probably figured this out by the number of first-time applicant meetings they had vs. the amount of re-applicant applications they passed out...

Still no word? Has anyone heard anything yet?

It states on the website the results of the lottery will be available 20 days after the deadline date. Be patient, I love microbiology, we won't know until May 05.

I believe at the orientation they said ten days after the deadline. I did notice the website says 20 days after. I called on friday to clarify and the lady I spoke to said to expect an answer on or around May 1st. Good luck everybody!! I'm curious...those of you that applied to Ohlone, where else did you apply?

I also applied to Chabot this year and I am on the waitlist for Napa Valley College and Santa Barbara City College. What about you?

I applied to Chabot, Ohlone, Delta, Los Medanos, and will apply to Modesto May 1st. I'm feeling so anxious!! I can't wait to find out already!
