Sorry to hear that you didn't pass. I am currently doing KAPLAN as well and about to take the NCLEX in 2 weeks. What did you think you had a hard time with during the test. Again Kaplan only teaches you the decision tree and all you do is answer questions compared to other reviews which mainly focuses on content. So if you think you need more content review I would not redo KAPLAN. If you don't mind me asking how well did you do on your Qtrainers and Qbanks. Currently my grades are as follows (D=59, T1=61, T2=55, T3= 50, T4=49, T5=61, T6=59, Qbanks= 60% with about 25 percent done) and i'm wondering if I should postpone my test.

Kaplan is garbage

I failed with it the first time and had all pretty good scores

I (think) I passed this time. And I used the Saunders Yellow book (which is the single best resource around PERIOD) and just read that from cover to cover. I didnt finish the last 400 pages and still passed (I think).

Theres a purple saunders companion book too which is a 2-3 day read. Its very basic but gives you helpful tips for making educated guesses on questions or eliminating answers.

Eitherway I cant recommend ANYTHING more than yellow + purple Saunders book as a combo.

I failed my boards the first time faster than anyone I went to school with, and hopefully passed this time using both.

Ill concede that I used Kaplan a little this time (I did like 2-3 question trainers) but the Yellow Saunders book is king.

Ill add those are all pretty low Kaplan Scores

Mine were mostly 55-67 and it didnt end well for me.

I STRONGLY STRONGLY recommend that yellow Saunders book. and knowing EVERYTHING possible about lab values + positioning
