I'd suggest working in a busy ICU where you get experience with a diverse patient population. When you're at work, seek out the really sick patients and learn as much as you can on a day-to-day basis. As far as the interview, you never know what they will ask. Just think about everything you say before you say it and be prepared to elaborate on anything that you bring up. If you're still taking classes, be sure to keep your grades up. All the faculty, students, and applicants that I met that day were professional and easy to talk to. Take this time before applying to find a way to set yourself apart from other applicants. Good luck!
I am applying for ODU May 2020 start and had submitted my application about two weeks ago. How long did it take for you all to hear back about receiving an interview? After you interviewed did you receive an answer pretty quickly? I have not experienced a rolling admission before so didn't know what timeline would look like! Congrats to everyone who is already in!
@nitroaveragenurse Congrats! How did you receive your invitation to interview? Phone or email? Thanks!

Hi @Nursng_life, thank you! I was sleeping after night shift actually and they left a voicemail, when I called them back they coordinated the interview from there!
