ODP to nurse

Hi guys!

Sorry if this has been asked before.

I have been an ODP for 7 years and love the role. I am now thinking of re training as a nurse and wondered how this works?

Would it be a 3year degree or is there a conversion.

    As far as I'm aware, a conversion doesn't exist, but you might be able to APEL some of your previous content from your ODP course (will depend on individual uni regs on this). Another option, if you have a degree already, might be the accelerated post grad nursing course.

    I think your best bet might be to approach some universities directly and see what they have to say.
