OCCC CLP Fall 2020

Published

Just wanted to post something since I haven't seen many posts about anyone applying for the CLP program with OCCC this Fall. I literally just submitted my application. I need some people to get some of this anxiety off to while I am waiting to here back. My mother always said the early bird gets the worm so I applied early with 13 points is what it is looking like. I was unable to take the TEAS test due to the whole COVID-19 ordeal. Just wondering what everyone else's points are and how you guys are feeling. Thanks in advance.

Hey I am trying to apply but it says you have to pay for some application fee? How do we do that part? Can you help me? Thanks!

Go to the portal then in the left corner drop down click my money. Click the okay thats underlined under view statement-make a payment....then at the top hit make a payment, and on the right its selective admissions application fees.

Thank you so much! Do you know how to upload official test scores onto the application?

You can either contact the testing center or take pictures of the results on your phone and upload or scan.

I just submitted my application! Thanks to you.... I only have 10 points so I am not holding my breath... But hope you get in!

Thank you. When I spoke to the DON she said they were trying to accept everyone into the program for CLP. So you aren't out yet. I was looking back and its looks like last year or in 2018 a paramedic got in with 9 points.

So the due date has passed looks like the people who applied for the traditional are starting to hear back 2 weeks later. So excited but so nervous.

I am nervous as well. Good luck to you and everyone who applied.

I applied for the clp as well and so nervous... do y’all think we will hear back sooner than 4-6weeks. I know the deadline was literally last Friday but I’m checking my email nonstop...

I know the people for the traditional heard back after just two weeks. So I'm hoping we hear from them by next Friday

That’s exciting... maybe clp will be faster, the academic advisor said it wasn’t as competitive because lpn is required
