Oasis training

Hi, I'm a travel nurse with PCU and inpatient rehab experience. I'm in grad school so I really need to switch to a different schedule and want to do home health.

I have no idea what Oasis training is, and I suspect I may not be alone on that. Perhaps you can expand?

Oasis is some type of documentation done in home health. I've never done it but from reading posts in the home health forum, it sounds very complicated.

OP, you should be able to find information on Oasis in the home health forum.

All it is really is the admit/assessment documentation required for home health care.

Oasis is the form used for admission, discharge, recertifications, etc in home health. There are classes on oasis, but the only nurses that I know that have taken those (I've heard they're quite expensive) do chart reviewing. Most home health agencies will train you how to do the Oasis. It takes a little practice just like admissions when you do inpatient.
